Wonder Gal

Movie buffs are eagerly anticipating the release of Wonder Woman… and watching if actress and model Gal Gadot will be able to pull off the role of a lifetime.

Gal Gadot catapulted out of relative obscurity when she blasted onto screens in the pivotal fight scene in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Portraying the iconic American female superhero, Wonder Woman, she was the epitome of strength, grace and beauty, who fought alongside Superman and Batman to stop a world-ending enemy.

The intrepid actor

For Jackie Chan, the road to success is paved with many injuries – some even life threatening.

When you think about jobs that require you to risk life and limb, the dangerous vocations that come to mind may be along the lines of fireman, soldier or fighter pilot. Certainly not actors. After all, what could be dangerous about smiling or crying in front of a camera? Jackie Chan, however, is a different kettle of fish.

First Class Lady

She is the strong, capable woman behind Barack Obama, the 44th President of the United States. But Michelle Obama is also a tremendous success in her own right, even from the days of her childhood. As the US welcomes a new President to the White House, we pay tribute to an amazing, one-of-a-kind First Lady.

Mother, daughter, lawyer, leader, public servant. Wife to one of the most powerful men on the planet. First African-American First Lady Michelle Obama is a force to be reckoned with. Her achievements – both in her personal capacity and as the First Lady of the United States – are inspiring and impressive.

That Strange Benediction

“The work is wonderful and I’m in it for the long game. People say, ‘This is your moment.’ Well, I hate to say it, but I don’t believe in moments. I don’t believe in one-offs. I believe in something continuing and continuing, and I want to be doing this job for the next 50 years if I live that long.”

Modern day magic, as we know it, is all about the art of distracting the audience and distorting their perceptions. A magician throws a ball and it vanishes midair, although in truth, the audience is distracted by the magician’s theatrical gestures that nobody notices the fact that the ball never really flew out of his hand – it’s safely tucked...

Im 43 years old and have been diagnosed with mild high blood pressure (140/90) for the past 2 years. Initially with cardiologist advice, I was prescribed on Micardis 40mg medication once daily whereby my bp at 110/75 on average and the side effects of this medication increases my heartbeat from average 65 to 80 beats per minute. Besides that I have also experienced palpitations twice within a year and seek advice from another cardiologist regarding to my diagnosed LVH disease in which the doctor advised to change the medication from Micardis 40mg to Concor 5mg. Now, my BP is under control as usual on average 110/80 and the pulse at 60 beats per minute but the side effects are losing hair and weight gain. Pls advise the alternative BP medication as to restore my hair and prevent weight gain. Thank you. Note: I AM ALLERGY TO SULFUR. Submitted By: Kumar
