Unlocking the mystery of fast and slow learners

AUGUST 2013

BrainFit Studio, the pioneer in providing neuroscience-based brain fitness programs in the Philippines with headquarters in Singapore, in cooperation with Abbott’s Gain®School Advance®, is inviting parents, teachers, school administrators and medical experts to the book launch of Cheryl Chia, pediatric physiotherapist and BrainFit Studio founder and director.

Chia’s book, “Fit Brains Learn Better! A Chronicle of 12 Years of Brain Fitness Training,” reveals how getting the brain in better shape helps accelerate learning. Learn more about the five brain fitness systems that are fundamental brain functions vital in a child’s holistic development: social-emotional functioning; attention and memory; auditory and language processing; visual and spatial processing; and sensory-motor coordination. Plus, get expert tips on developing your child's communication skills and confidence, creating an ideal environment for studying and building a better attention span, among others.

As a parent, having a better understanding of the brain fitness level of a child and young adult (4 to 18 years) helps you understand their strengths and opportunity areas better and as a result, give them the right program and interventions to help them learn better.

Chia will also conduct a brain fitness workshop entitled, “Brain Fitness: Unlocking the Mystery between Fast and Slow Learners” and will discuss the different learning capabilities of students, latest findings on brain and cognitive development, common learning difficulties and programs that are proven to enhance brain fitness.

The book launch and brain fitness workshop will be on September 11, 2013, 6:00 p.m. at The Forum, 4th Floor, Fully Booked, Bonifacio High Street, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. To join, please call BrainFit Studio Philippines at (02) 725 8500, (02) 668 2719, (0917) 599 1992 or email brainfitph@gmail.com.
