Asian Hospital opens one-stop-shop for breast care
The Philippines reportedly has the highest incidence rate of breast cancer in Asia and is one of the top 10 countries with the most breast cancer cases. Positioning itself in the front lines of the breast cancer battle, Asian Hospital and Medical Center (AHMC) opened its Breast Center last September 24. The facility offers the best practices in breast care—from disease prevention and screening to diagnosis and treatment—and follows the principle of 5 Cs in its fight against breast cancer and other breast-related illnesses: compassion, competence, confidentiality, comfort and care.
