Im 43 years old and have been diagnosed with mild high blood pressure (140/90) for the past 2 years. Initially with cardiologist advice, I was prescribed on Micardis 40mg medication once daily whereby my bp at 110/75 on average and the side effects of this medication increases my heartbeat from average 65 to 80 beats per minute. Besides that I have also experienced palpitations twice within a year and seek advice from another cardiologist regarding to my diagnosed LVH disease in which the doctor advised to change the medication from Micardis 40mg to Concor 5mg. Now, my BP is under control as usual on average 110/80 and the pulse at 60 beats per minute but the side effects are losing hair and weight gain. Pls advise the alternative BP medication as to restore my hair and prevent weight gain. Thank you. Note: I AM ALLERGY TO SULFUR. Submitted By: Kumar

I have exercise consistently for 30 over years; 30 min a day with one day rest a week. Doing free standing exercises and endurance exercises. If I assesss body muscle with chest measurement then I have improved from 39 in chest to 40 in. at the age of 59. Question: has this to do with my testoterone level ? Am iI overweingat at 80 Kg and 173 cm? BMI being 27. I am not on any medicnes; B/p at 120/80 resting heart rate at 60 /min. Male, Malaysian Chinese from Penang. Submitted By: Tan Weng Hooi
